The Chase

I ran like Lola across Europe
to find peace within,
instead I found you,
Dragonsoul, Lionheart, my cosmic twin

Exhausted, defeated
I lay down on the bed
rock, invisible at the summit
the blackbirds' concerto

The Sun is my witness
at this trial of carnal desire
as I lay motionless on this bed
rock, hard

The Earth vibrates,
my body shakes
as temptation leans on the doorbell
at the gates of Paradise Lust

Like Sisyphus I push
and watch the stone fall
down to the next valley
below, shadows descend

This is not the end
but a new beginning
and the next mountain may be
my personal Everest

I never rest
but float in space, in peace
full of love and light,
a native of a joyful radiation nation

And when it rains
I dance in a blissful trance
as if I'd already found my way
back home into your arms

Climbing

I don't need to change
For God, or anyone
I'm fine just the way I am
Because I'm true
To myself, and you

But the thing is
I want to change
The whole world
Within discordant, rumbling
Make it zen

When the sun rises
Tomorrow, hopeful
I am more than
Myself today

Love as my guide
I take another
Step up the stairway
And shine the light for
Others to follow

Pure Bliss

I see myself next to
you on a beach under a blanket of
stars, reflecting the eternity I spend
lost in your tar
eyes that hold me in their
gaze while you laugh at my Finnish
ways of enjoying the scent of burnt wood
sap. And what's happening is
happiness expanding at the rate of exploding
supernovas illuminating the night
sky, high as we make love to one
another, and the world is at
peace at last.

It is the definition of
pure bliss.

The Ascension

The wind whispers into my ear

The universe provides
God is on your side

What would someone who loves themselves do
The answer is given to you

So don't look for a deeper meaning
Just enjoy the moment
And concentrate on
The spring cleaning your soul

Destination Destiny

A free man walked up to me
